Nkhwazi has an active and thriving Parent/Teacher Association, which provides links between parents, teachers and the school administration as well as organizing social and fund-raising events.  The annual PTA Bonfire Night and Firework Display in November is well-known in Lusaka and there is usually another major fund-raising cum social event in the middle of the year.
