Nkhwazi has an active and thriving Parent/Teacher Association, which provides links between parents, teachers, and the school administration as well as organizing social and fundraising events.  The annual PTA Bonfire Night and Firework Display in November is well-known in Lusaka, and there is usually another major fundraising-cum-social event in the middle of the year.
